Singing in the Rain

Auntie B came home from work and
was going to take us to the park, but
it started to rain.

Then it started to hail!

So Auntie B let me have a mini-adventure
and I got to go "Singing In the Rain"!

What fun!

Our campfire FINALLY!

Telling stories around the campfire!

Roasting marshmallows.

I just didn't want this day to end.

Outdoor adventure day

Uncle Billy decided to have an outdoor adventure day!
He was in charge of the flashlight and bandaids
And most of all...our safety!

Niji Hoshi and I stayed really close together
in our hammock because we weren't sure we like
being up so high.

Auntie Belinda was right at home climbing trees,
swinging in the hammock and having some
girl time with Stretchy the Ostrich.

Ummmmmmmm.....did I mention how high it was?

It didn't help a whole lot when Uncle Billy
gave us a lesson in how NOT to do outdoor
adventures.  He fell out of the tree, but thankfully
wasn't hurt except a couple of scratches.

We had a visitor.  It was actually smaller than me!

I was so excited I got out of the hammock
to check it out and forgot all about how scared I had been.

We played the camoflauge yourself game.
Can you find me Mama B?

Here is an aerial view.

Rope climbing was pretty cool
although I didn't go as high as Niji Hoshi!

Since I am the special guest they
let me collect the twigs and leaves for
the fire tonight.  We are hoping to light it
tonight and roast marshmallows!
What a fun day so far!!

Marvin Moss went bungee jumping

My friend, Marvin Moss, was the only one brave
enough to try bungee jumping during our
outdoor adventures today.

Doesn't that look scary! So far down.

Oh my...my heart was beating so fast.
I was scared for him!

 Still falling...

Finally made it to the bottom...safely...Whew!

He was in a little bit of shock at first!

At the end he was just so proud of himself.
We all applauded!

Auntie B's lesson on thankfulness.

Auntie B was teaching me about being thankful
in hard times and to be mindful of others who don't have as much.
She said she is so thankful for her family and friends who keep in touch on Facebook.

Auntie B is thankful for family and friends who
are there to encourage her during hard times and illness.

She told me that she has been to Brazil and Russia.
Their health care is not very good, so she is thankful for the USA
that has medicine and access to doctors.

Auntie B is also so grateful for others who have shared
with her during Mr. John's unemployment.

Being able to cook is another thing Auntie B said
she was thankful for.  Thank you Nana Janice for teaching
her how to cook.  I loved the banana muffin for breakfast this morning.

Auntie B is even thankful for cuddle time with me.
She hasn't felt good for a whole week, but is finally feeling better.
She said that I remind her of how much her family loves her.

These guys gave Auntie B a new roof because of
hail damage.  The insurance company covered all
the costs without any out of pocket expense.
She said that was a real blessing and answer to prayer
with Mr. John not working right now.

Finally, Auntie was so thankful that I was handy and
could help her with her knitting project.

Here I am learning how to increase stitches on either
end of a row.  This knitting stuff is pretty cool Mama B!

I miss Texas, but I am so happy to learn new things
and to help others by sharing some cuddles and love.

I love my apartment and my new friends!

Shared my snacks with Silver Fox and Marvin Moss!

Watched TV with family and Niji Hoshi.

Met Baby Buttfreckle.
He is going to share my room
so I won't be lonely.  He is shy, but very nice.

Decided to try out my bed....

...and fell asleep instead.  I must have
been really tired from all that traveling.

I really like my apartment.
Auntie B has promised a hammock and
campfire night some evening soon.

Arrived safely at Auntie B's in South Carolina

The post office did good!  I made it safely to Auntie B's!

Beth K. packed me safe and sound with a traveling companion and some Skittle snacks.

Peek-a-boo!  Quick trip, but I am still ready to stretch my wings said Stretchy the Ostrich!

Hi Buttfrecklers!  Auntie B fed me the snacks that Beth sent with me!
I was hungry.  Thank you Beth.  You were such a good host!

After a good lunch Auntie B let me have the Skittles that Beth packed.
I jumped right into the bag as I just couldn't wait until she put them in a bowl.

Beth, Auntie B loves her chocolate bunny bar.  She says a huge thank you!!

Beth,  You kept my passport up to date and made it quite colorful..like me!
I am glad to be here, but I miss my new friends, Shondy and Beth!

On my way to South Carolina!

Hi all! My last day in Gainesville. Today I'm on my way to Auntie Brenda's in South Carolina. Thought I'd do my final post from here. Though I had the most awesomest and wonderful time, according to the calendar, it's time to go. At Auntie's I'll have my own bed and apartment! Of course I can't wait!!!! Wooo hoo! Here's a few photos of me getting ready to depart.

This is my traveling box!
Another shot. The JW is my traveling cargo hold!
Me in my cargo hold!

Beth made sure I had a sandwich and soda in my cargo hold so I wouldn't be hungry. If Auntie finds the ziplock bag with Skittles Riddles, she'll know I didn't have to bribe the USPS folks who may want me to go on an "unauthorized" trip. Momma just hates those!

See you all on the flipside in a couple of days in South Carolina with my next host, Auntie Brenda McCleary! This is Jitters Winchester (aka JW and JWB) Buttfreckle signing off from Gainesville! Woo hooo!

Checking out the snacks this weekend!

Hi all! This probably will be my last post before I depart for South Carolina tomorrow. Auntie is waiting for me in my new apartment and my own bed! But I had some good tasty "snacks" before I head of. I'm so glad to be rested up for my short journey.

It was Beth's Dad's birthday Friday. She made him a chocolate cake!
A close up!
Very tasty!
Kabuli agrees with me!
Before the candles got lit!
I did a great job blowing out the candles! Happy birthday Mr. Dennis!
A piece just for me. Was it tasty!

I asked Beth to make blueberry pancakes sometime while I was here. AND SHE DID!!!!

Notice the size. I want this one!
Glory be, this is HUGE but will taste good!
This is what Beth made for me- Buttfreckle sized!

Oh tasty cake and blueberry pancakes! Glad she made both. Will have to watch my Freckle figure else I'll turn into a Mega! Plus Auntie's great cooking. Until tomorrow!
