We went to Auntie D's house for Thanksgiving. I know Grammie B is letting the FF's go over there. They will be safer than here. The armadillo has been back. Moe came to say goodbye. He is very fond of the little bald FF...called him Stick.
There was a giant bird for us to feast on. Auntie D let me chew on the bones...one of a Freckles favorite foods. It was yummy. We saw that the FF's had come back. Quess they may live with us now.
The little boy was there napping. I joined him for a quick rest. was so surprised to see my friends from Mama's B house there when we woke up.
I was visiting with Butterfly Kiss and it struck me...if BK was here Mama B should be. Just then I felt all warm...Mama B scooped me up. She said I was missed so much and she was taking me home!
Thank you to all of my host. The adventures were all so exciting and sometimes scary. I will keep the memories always. I'm gonna go now...it's my turn to help in the lab. Hasta la vista!

FF's and Moe

Grammie B took me to LongHorn Steak House for being so brave at the doctors. That little FF hit me hard. The doctor said I have 11 stitches but the scar shouldn't be too bad.

Feral Freckles 2

Two of the FF were curious and came closer...never had seen a Jitters before. The youngest FF...youngest because he had no hair...found his nest and was protcting it with a stick. I tried...the doctor I was lucky it wasn't worse.

Feral Freckles...

Hello Everyone...
It's been crazy around here. We were grilling some ribs when there was an awful snorting coming from the rock pile. Along with the snorting..which we knew was an armadillo...there was a wailing.
We chased the armadillo away and found this..the rarest of sights...Feral Freckles!!!! Seeing a FF is on the same level seeing Big Foot.  The story goes like this...Several years ago, when Mama B was still just plain B, there was an accident in the lab.  A Mega Freckle escaped from his travel box and knocked over all the boxes too. Several escaped by the lab window. There have been sightings but this is the first photo.

I know Momma B loves Halloween...thought I would hide in the pumpkin when it was finished and then roll down the street to find her. BUT NO...that little boy scooped me up and gave me back to Grammie B. Who is he anyways and why does he keep finding me?

I WANT TO GO HOME !!

This place is boring. There aren't any other Freckles here to talk to!! I know Momma B is close..I can smell her Cherry Blossom perfume. I can follow it home if I could escape. I hid in the yard and was waiting until dark but was captured!

I'm not done yet...

Seattle's newest attraction

Tonight we went out to see the newest attraction on the Seattle waterfront, it is called the Seattle Great Wheel.  It is a huge Ferris Wheel.
Some nights they do a light show with the lights on the sides of the wheel, it was really fun to watch.

They were able to do a lot of different patterns with those flashy lights.

Locks and Ladder

Today we headded to a place called Ballard.  I heard Amy and Dan saying something about locks and ladders but I have no idea what that means.

We arrived at the locks!

Found this thing that Amy said ships tie up to but I think it is a buttfreckle hiding place since I fit in here perfectly.  There was room for a few more buttfreckles in the other holes too.

We found this great sculpture, it hat the perfect place for me to sit for a picture.  I love how the metal curves.  I could have sat here all day but we needed to see the ladder.
This is a fish ladder.  Didn't know fish could climb a ladder.

We went inside to the viewing area and we saw slamon climbing the fish ladder.  Dan explained that the fish ladder was made so the fish could get from Puget Sound to Lake Washington after the locks were built since the locks block passage between the lake and sound.

There were lots of people looking at the fish in the ladder, there is even someon counting the number of fish that pass through.

This is one of the locks, it was built because the height of the water in Puget Sound is different than the water in Lake Washington.  Boats go in one of the locks and the water level is raised or lowered so the boats can go on their way.

As we were leaving a flock of birds flew over just as the sun was setting.  The weather here has been nice, I thought it was suppose to be rainy in Seattle.

What is under the bridge???

Today Amy and Dan wanted to show me a popular place to visit in Seattle and boy was I in for a surprise.  We drove just north of the city and crossed a bridge and then wound our way down to below the bridge.  I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw this giant troll who lives under the bridge.

He is the Freemont Troll and lives under the Aurora Bridge.  He is a nice troll and I was able to sit on his hand to get a picture with him.  There lots of people coming to visit the troll while we were there.

The troll is huge, you can see that there is a full size volkswagon beetle under his hand,

The troll lives on Troll Ave. N, someone gave the street sign eyes over the O.

Next stop is dinner at a drive in called Dick's, it is a popular place to get a great hamburger in Seattle.

We had a Dick's Deluxe burger, fries and a strawberry shake.  Boy was it a great meal and another great day in Seattle!

What an awesome view!

Today we went for a drive and Amy's son Brandon found the perfect place for me to sit in the car.  He said it was a cup holder but I think it was a custom buttfreckle seat!

We went to this awesome place called Kerry Park where you could see the whole city.  Amy told me that on a clear day you can even see Mount Rainier beyond the city.
A bunch of friends got to come along so we got a group shot in front of the city.  It sure is a beautiful place!

Pike Place Market

Today we went to see Pike Place Market, the famous public market in downtown Seattle.  It sure was a busy place, lots of people and lots of places to buy all kinds of stuff.

We started out visiting Rachel the pig, she is a giant bronze piggy bank.  People put money in the slot on her back to help fund the market.  She even let me sit on her snout for this picture.

Next we stopped at the Pike Place Fish Market, the home of the flying fish.  The workers here throw fish to each other, this makes them look like they are flying through the air.

They had may different types of seafood at the fish market.  Amy told me that these dungeness crabs are one of her favorites.  Boy, those shells look like they would make them hard to eat.

There were many produce stands selling all kinds of fruits and vegetables.  I really liked the look of these carrots, they were all different colors not just orange.  I wonder if they all taste the same or if each color tastes different???

Dan, Amy's husband, bought her this very pretty bouquet of flowers.  I decided to hop in for a great photo op.

We had a awesome day wandering the market, I can hardly wait for my next adventure!

Sneak peek!

The night I arrived Amy and her family were going to a special event, it was an invitation only party where we got to see and play with the new Nintendo Wii U!!!

I got to bring a friend with me so I asked Cynisca if she wanted to come along with me to the party and she was excited to get to go out for the evening.

There were lots of people there all excited to see the new game console and games.  The place was bathed in cool blue lights, it was awesome.

We even got some refreshments, a yummy Wii U sugar cookie with frosting and a Blue Jones soday, it was berry flavored.

We had a great time!  Too bad I won't be at Amy's when she gets her Wii U, it looks like it will be a lot of fun to play with!

Arrival in Seattle...

When I arrived I was welcomed by some of Amy's huge family of buttfreckles, it was nice to see some old friends and some that I hadn't met before.

I got to meet one of Amy's cats, her name is Yumi.  She told me I didn't smell like the buttfreckles that live at her house.

I also met one of Amy's dogs, Heidi.  She was lounging on the patio chair so I though I would join her.

I finally got to try out one of those nests I have been hearing about that Mama B has been making, boy they sure are comfortable.

It was a tight squeeze when the Spumoni twins wanted to get back in their nest while I was in it.  When I get home maybe Mama B will make me a nest of my own.

I am off to a party tonight!
TTYL!

Arrived in Ohio this morning and have had a wonderful first day!  First of all, hung out with my new bestie, the hummingbird, then came in to chill for a bit, and had a BIG "Welcome" waiting for me on the sofa, and thennnnnnnnnn, all 155 of my siblings that are living here, showed me some serious love!  <3<3
Oh, and Gracie and Bella got in on the fun too!!!  They are VERY protective of all of the Buttfreckles here!  :) :) :)
I feel very safe and very tired!
Time for bed!
